We pride ourselves on our partnerships with local craftsmen. Sustainability, in every sense of the word, is why we have chosen to seek artisans, in both our immediate and broader communities, to form a retail partnership.
The antiques sold in-store come from flea markets, estate sales, and even salvage yards. Some pieces are left in weathered and patinaed states. Other times, pieces are restored and repaired as needed.
In a perfect world, all of our items would be Old. But, try as we might, it just is not practical. So we practice a functional balance of old and new. Regardless of personal aesthetic, you will find pieces that represent you. Our collections of boutique clothing, original apparel, regionally sourced antiques, and locally made art are a revolving door that represent the various styles found in the South.
Taylor was born and raised in Columbia, Mississippi, while Riane had family ties to the area but grew up in Middle Tennessee. They met as teenagers when Riane was in Columbia visiting family one Christmas and they both just knew they were in love. They dated through college as Riane attended the University of Southern Mississippi and Taylor attended Pearl River Community College. They married in 2016, had their first child in 2019, then another in 2020, and another in 2021. They purchased the nearly one hundred year old building at 708 1/2 Main Street in 2023 and shortly after The Ever Green was born.
